Unknown gunmen have abducted three workers on a farm belonging to the former president Olusegun Obasanjo located in Kobape area of Ogun state.
The workers were abducted on Wednesday evening around Seseri village located in Obafemi-Owode local government area of the state.
The gunmen open fire on the Hilux vehicle conveying the workers and they were whisked away to an unknown destination.
The spokesman of the state police command, Abimbola Adeyemi, who confirmed the incident, identifies the abductees to include the company’s financial controller, auditor and store manager.
Adeyemi explains that the incident occurred on Wednesday evening while the workers were returning from the farm.
he adds that the a team of policemen had been deployed to rescue the victims from the custody of their abductors.
it will be recalled that the gunmen had last month abducted the son of the former general secretary of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) at Ibara orile area of the state while returning from his farm.
In the same vein, a retired lecturer of the Federal Polytechnic, Offa, Kwara State, Fasasi Olanigan, was also kidnapped along Abeokuta-Imasai in Ogun.
It was gathered that Olanigan was taken away by the kidnappers, who left his car by the roadside.
